No two car accidents are the same, regardless of how much damage is done or how many people are injured.
In some cases, a car accident involves multiple vehicles. In other cases, only one car is involved. In some additional cases, a car injures a pedestrian.
A recent car accident story out of West New York shows that anything can happen on the road at any time. According to the director of the West New York Police, a 19-year-old woman’s foot was run over during the morning hours of May 13, 2014. As a result, she was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
The accident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. in close proximity to Park Avenue and 60th Street.
The 19-year-old woman was the only one who suffered an injury as a result of the accident. At this time, police continue to investigate the finer details of the incident.
This type of car accident may not be common, but this story shows that everybody needs to be careful at all times. This includes anybody who is behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, as well as those who are walking on the road or sidewalk. These accidents may be uncommon, but they do occur from time to time.
Many people are under the impression that most car accidents only happen when they are behind the wheel or a passenger in a vehicle, but this story shows that nothing could be further from the truth. As a pedestrian, especially in busy cities, the risk of being involved in an accident with a vehicle is always present.
